“Connected Choices” is a special series in the catalogue of Vekton Musik. Each release presents four various tracks of the label family. The aim of this series is to connect the artists and bring together.

“Feed Function” is the first composition under the solo project of Daniel Madlung from Dresden. In the last two years he is a very go-getting producer within the electronic music scene. In the past Daniel works on a lot of producing projects. In the late nineties he was known as “Exec Bat”. Many years later, after he collected a lot of experience in producing music, he started a liveprojekt in 2009 under his alias Terrik Mode. While this time he released on his own labels like Vee Recordings & Vekton Musik. This not being enough, Daniel produces music together with Adrian Garza under the pseudonym “Darian”. And of course not to forget, the joint project “Dandy Tracks” that he has with his wife and label partner Mandy called into life in 2012. It will be exciting to Daniel Madlung.

“Darian” is a project of Daniel Madlung and his Mexican friend Adrian Garza. Adrian was one the first artist who supported the Label with a lot of nice productions. Their kind of music emphasizes the line of Vekton Musik so we are looking forward to listen more of “Darian” music in the upcoming future.

“Amanda’s Somewhere” is the next EP on Mandy Jordan’s & Daniel Madlung’s Label Vekton Musik. Actual “Amanda” is the closer & deeper project of Mandy. She decided to release the tracks after a long time break down cause now they are ripened to release. Daniel complement the EP with a furthermore creation of “Chord Action”.

Mandy Jordan – Amanda’s Somewhere (Vekton Musik / 021)

Der Titeltrack zittert extrem elegant durch seine leicht dubbige Harmonie, säuselt dazu durch die Räume, pustet gelegentlich mal einen Chord, aber eigentlich trägt sich so ein Ding von selbst in seinem tänzelnd warmen Kaminfeuerglück des schwingenden Pulsierens. Manchmal kann man eben auch im richtigen Moment hängen bleiben. “Chord Action” zeigt dann mit seinen krabbelnden Minimalgrooves, dass Mandy Jordan definitiv immer genau weiß, wann weniger mehr ist und zielgenau die kurzen tragenden Sounds sucht, die einem reduzierten Track seinen Charakter geben. Der Daniel-Madlung-Remix wirkt zunächst mal ähnlich, hat aber einen klassischeren Dubtechnoansatz im Groove und verfolgt eher einen typischen Aufbau.

Dreaming of a place in heaven, one imagines it white-coloured and with many clouds. Adrian’s definition of „Place In Heaven“ ably reflects this imagination via his lovingly and pleasant tracks which tend to melt ad infinitum. A paradisiac EP which is most deserving to be part in the „Garden of Eden“ of our Vekton Musik label catalogue.

„Evita“ is Mandy Jordan's conclusion of her feelings and observations of last winter. By means of converging sound and creativity, Mandys latest EP forms a perceptibly dulcet piece of music. Tracks are made for the dancefloor and whet you appetite. Enjoy!

Mandy Jordan – Evita (Vekton Musik / 018)

Sehr relaxte minimale Tracks mit viel warmem Bass und langsamen Bewegungen im Groove, verstörter Stimme und einem glitzernd behutsamen Flair in allen vier Stücken, die auf die Dauer eine durch und durch feine Stimmung erzeugen, auch wenn sie nicht gerade vor Höhepunkten strotzen. Musik, zu der man sich ziemlich entspannt zurücklehnen kann, denn irgendwie ist auf diese klassisch schwingende Art von minimalem Sound einfach Verlass.

„Dub Tales“- a musical transmission of mental feelings and information by means of orally logic connecting history and future! An ambivalent EP who’s emotionally and sketchily illustrated subjects are to conserve the main idea for the descendants. „To Double Tales“, in short „Dub Tales“ is an illustration of a turn of the tide whose elements are abstracted by multiple experiments and a double bottom which animates you to study between the notes. Terrik Modes acoustic tradition of the past and of feelings is abstracted as an illustration of melodic perception, demonstrated in a symbiosis of sound and design.

A pendulum is a classical example for a swinging object which moves harmonically by low deflection from the equilibrium position. When listening to „Sudden Movement“ by Steven Cock and Terrik Mode, one could assume the EP is managed by a musical pendulum board. Beats, snares, vocals and percussions in a dulcet sample with suddenly changing intensity. A kinetic journey through the world of grooves which provides the incentive to do spontaneous physical activities, in a nutshell: „Sudden Movement“!

After many produced remixes and own releases for labels like Mina, Meleon, Numbolic and Inminimax Mandy´s new release appears on Vekton Musik. She produced 5 wonderful tracks contained of groove, knocking kickdrums and echoed influences of Dub music. Mandy processed vocal sounds, patterns of percussion and basslines into individual and interesting tunes and tried to avoid melodic influences. „Me To You“ is a mixture of You and Me – maybe House, maybe Techno, something in between, hard to define like Franco Biancos amazing remix which consist thousand of musical pieces.

Mandy Jordan presents her new EP on her Label Vekton Musik. The EP is called “Toni Funk” and includes four original, excellent and affectionately produced Tracks. “Mattheo” is a warm and hypnotic track, with a dubby & chordy atmosphere. “Sender” is a little bit more emotionally, sounds also deep and warm. The “Tweak Tool” is a little bit groovier and reduced to the basics of functional minimal sound. In the middle of the track you will be surprised of the linear chords, a deep baseline and a portion of funk. The Titletrack “Toni Funk” bounces over a long period of time to a percussive Housetool. We greet a new artist on Vekton Musik, its Sir K from Argentina exactly from Buenos Aires. Sir K experiments as a DJ and producer always with a preference for the most different sounds indeed he always orientates on straight beats suitable for the dancefloor. The young musician gets his inspirations from the argentine underground scene, where they share their ideas, impressions and so on for one with Seph, Dario Zenker, Kasper & Papol, Jonas Kopp, Omar Salgado, Gurtz, Dilo & Guti. "Bosque De Humanos" thus EP Title is called translated so much like „human in the forrest“. The fist both Tracks are dark, brilliant, deep and powerful. The fixed deep frequencies growl inside the underground and become to a very funky whole package with its vocalslayers on it. This Sound creates a maximum and a good groove on the dancefoor….

„Finally…! “ In 2009 Vekton Musik starts with the Berlin based Producer and Liveact Rafael Gomez. In the past he had already releases on Labels like Substatic & Treibstoff Recordings. Vekton Musik 012 is called “Don’t”. The original track has been remixed from Falko Brocksieper. Very nice work! All 5 Tracks on the EP are special, harmonic & clear. Rafael’s specific Groove is very difficult to describe. His music tells a story, you don’t anticipate and suddenly the song develops in another way. Because of the demanding arrangements, the listener will never bore. There’s a special groove around his music, the Baselines are pushing and all is moving forwards. Happy & Deep at the same time….this is only a short trial to describe Rafael’s sound. An excellent Producer, we want to hear very much more in the future.

Morikkis was formed in 2004 by Nicolás Hardmeier (Tácito) and Román Fleischer (Dirty Room). In 2008 Román moves from Argentina to Barcelona where Nicolás has been living for 7 years. They quickly start to produce tracks and play very active and dynamic livesets, grabbing the attention of some of the most important clubs arround Europe like Bar 25 in Berlin and London´s Fabric. Vekton welcomes Morikkis with the very groovy "Activa" release. It ties up to the previous release with Dirty Room & Fase Miusic Sender. You can sense the same argentine flow. The first song "Activa" delighted through the lightly deepness in harmony with the charming and rolling groove. Rather funky & elegant with bouncy chords sounds “Busca” wonderful elaborated and active. Just the same way like “Observa”. A brilliant minimal track, which makes the release to a further highlight on the welcomed Label.

Dirty Room & Fase Miusic Sender bring the argentinean flow in our release series. At the moment Fase performes a lot of gigs in Amerika and released songs on Unlock, Airdrop and Igloo Records. Dirty Room is staying and living in Barcelona now. He and a friend runs a live-project called Morikkis and released tracks on Vekton Musik, Artminimal & Trebol Records. The "Hurry" Ep contains very clear influences from Southamerica. Shuffle and swing act a decisive role in both tracks as well as this typical argentinean groove with the rolling bassline. "Hurry Sale De La Cama" develops from a dusky 808 percussion. Reverbation and effectsequences introduce the climax in the middle of the song. Suddenly you have the feeling that the bassline is running away from the hook-sound and everything becomes faster. "Hurry Esta Muerto" begins with a typical swinging 808 tom pattern. Bass and deep percussion sounds consort with athmosynth and a dose of reverbeffects merging to a magic & rolling minimal track. All in all we have a very straight and perussive release that is able to introduce the climax on the dancefloor...

Bruno and Lorenzo Sacco are back on Vekton... Now they present their second Release. The two brothers from Paris finished this yeah till now 6 records, amongst others on Miniatura, Bosphorus Underground, Kirchebaum and Vekton. All Tracks will find its own friends because the Saccobros stand for a sound working in the clubs. Intervallo sounds progressive, dry and a little bit trancy. The hypnotic hookline sluices tireless between the different passages. They choose 2 female remixer for their release, beautiful! Mandy’s remix tells its own tale, sounds more like a house-song with a very wide-band and a fat groove. Fantomette´s mix is more lost in emotion and detail, her melodic passages and the fine minimalistic groove let the two remixes speak for itself and makes the release very interesting. "Transmission" sounds also very hypnotic. A light creaking bassline and a nice minimalistic groove connecting to an easygoing charming clubtrack. Thank you Saccobros... and now we go dancing!!!

We are happy to embrace with the "Mind Ward" release "Schulz" as a new artist of Vekton Musik. Schulz - is from the trapping party-metropolis Berlin where a lot of artist animate and refresh the Szene. The last years he was known from a project called "Conrad & Schulz". They performed together in Germany and also in Austria and organised partys. They splitted up in 2007, and Schulz takes his own musical way with success. His first release was a remix for the first Ep of Channel X on Kassette Records. On Vekton Musik appears now the Ep "Mind Ward", appointed with 3 electronic and frisky tracks. Schulz produces several styles of music. Thats how "Mind Ward" contains one melodic housetrack with a deep subbass, thereto a frisky minimal track and in the end a housesong with a special pithy hookline... Schulz get bogged down in details of the songs, he uses very high filtered effects and noisepassages, as well as detailed filed breaks. We are happy about the special "No Way Out Remix" from Click|Click, the labeldirector of Kasette Records Berlin.

...ohh yes it`s done. The new year starts for Vekton Musik with a music compilation named "Restart One". Its also the motto for our first european-tour project beginning in summer 2008. Vekton consists of an artist family scattered all over the would, so we present you 13 international fantastic minimal techno and deep house tracks. You find the motto track from Exec Bat named "Restart". He is the technical man, dj & director of the label vekton. We have tracks from free-release artists like Marco Fender, Gauchel and Adrian Garza. Guti, Alexis and Dirty Room are very talented friends from Buenos Aires, which also released on the Argentina Label Unlock Records. They are noted for their funky minimal soul Sound. From May on, Guti and Dirty Room are touring with us in Europe to play some Gigs in Germany and other countries... The female support for the compilation comes from Mandy Jordan from germany and Fantomette together with Saccobros from france. We present you a new energized track from the crazy guys called MiniCoolboyz. Ken Hayakawa`s sucking track "Paranoid", Population Zero`s "Domino Effect" and Jitzu`s "Fall from Graze" are typical tracks for their own producer style, sounding very clear, minimal and clean. Let`s embrace a new year with a lot of good, fresh house and techno music from vekton...

Saccobros are a duo of electronic music formed by brothers Lorenzo and Bruno Sacco from Italy. Influenced by contemporary electronic music the two Sicilians decided to invade the music scene under the name "THE SACCOBROS". Today they live in Paris / France and they released on labels like "Akbal Music" and "Kirchebaum Records". Now the two brothers made their first release for vekton musik called "Safari"... The release contains 2 tracks from Saccobros and one remix of the track "Safari" from Ricardo Escalante aka "SOLAREMUSIC" a Mexican composer of orchestral and pop music, and a real synthesizer and electronic instruments enthusiast. Safari is a clear moving minimal dance-track, with a simple catchy baseline and deep flanged delayed percussion sweep-sounds. The track developes from breathy "Ahh" vocals to playful chordsound-characteristic. "Bed & Breakfast" also consists of this background synthy flange sounds and a deep loopy simple baseline. The flanged synth and the hypnotic-percussion rim-shots defining the funky deep grooving dance track with its fat clap sound. A monster on its way to the next adventure!!! Solaremusics remix of "Safari" begins with deep filtered low pass percussion sounds and delayed elements of the orginal track. The baseline is moving on the ground, noises and bleep sounds working on the crown... Solaremusic opens the filtered sections after the break, but only for a short period of time.. then he goes back to the deep underground and filters again...

Population Zero is an in Germany undiscovered talent from Spain, more precisely from Tenerife. He released tracks under another pseudonym on the label "Eklero" records. You can describe his sound as modern plastic Deephouse. His sounds and songstuctures are very good figured out and arranged. You have always the feeling that his small sections percussion-sounds noshing on the echo chamber, floating in the air. "Inmaculada" is one of the tracks full of these plasticsounds and these effectsweeps. In the breaks you listen to mystic and deep synthsounds losing the ground. It sounds like you discerp a peace of cloth. Population Zero tells you an interesting story with his tracks. "Minimal Embargo" also has this scary-movie character with its drifting bassground and these endless sweeping echo chambers. A cantankerous bassline associates with glisten percussionsounds and a lot of deepness and mystic. The track seems to be endless because it has this funk, these freshness and lightness in the sounds... "Paper Cut" rounds down Population Zero`s release "Elegant Underground". Again you can feel reams of elements flying through the room. You can say that the little sounds nibbling as much as they can... He placed deep filtered synth-arpeggios into "Paper Cut" to get this movie touch into his productions. Very successful tracks not only for the club, also designed for home, to couch and dream. ...sophisticated except the last element! great!

Mandy Jordan makes her debut on her own label "Vekton Musik" which she makes together with Daniel Madlung aka Exec Bat. She takes even 4 artistcolleagues in her boat remixing her Track "Rolltypes" even 3 times. Her orginaltrack is less of curlicue, dry, build simple and without gadgetry. The basedrums and bass-sounds absorb each other and give the track the necessary groove. Distributed synthsounds makes it dark with a spooky character. Altogether a very well, drifting, clean track... The possibly voluminous remix is from Jitzu & Sire_G from Italy. They remixed amongst others for Boris Brejcha and Nico Schwind. You can feel the originaltrack only rudimental. Their remix contains very much elements. The insertion of the synthchord-sound goes direct under the skin and gives us the creeps. Their fine soundelements sounds very clean and clear. It is grooving and dithering, swinging and knocking as you must hold fast to something in the club if you want not to swing into that groove. Alexis Cabrera from Argentina created also a very wonderful complex and long remix. He processed the subject very well and remains true to the orginaltrack and orginalsounds. Altogether he created a electrify, intensive, warm, drifty, groovy track. You can also say "Please hold fast to something". Another nice, dry remix is from Guti also from Argentina. Guti is among other things the labeldirector of "Unlock Records". In the Remix Guti used a clatter sound from Mandy for the guideline of the mix. Loopy elastic Sounds, discreet percussionelements, the clean aesthetic and cool breaks on the right positions makes Gutis remix matching perfectly to the release. Four different styles makes the vm004 very interesting. Thanks to Mandy, Guti, Alexis, Jitzu and Sire_G... Great work!

In the age of 6 years Ken Hayakawa began to play piano and developed very promise, that he played songs from Beethoven and Diabelli at the "Salzburger Schlosskonzerte" in 1991. In the meanwhile Ken is a Dj, Live Act and produces very nice athmospheric minimaltechno. This year he played with ricardo villalobos on the aftershowparty of the loveparade in essen. The friendly, likeable Ken Hayakawa from Vienna released already tracks on Flex Schallplatten. With his release "jogging in the club" ken shows what he can conjure with his machines. "Club snack" grooves very dry and jingle with knocking percussion sounds and leadsounds. The track sounds very fresh and happy, supported by a light acidbaseline... "Illegal owner" begins with small section percussionsounds and a strong beating basedrum. The track is building a very moving power minimalmonster between its noise sounds and groovy melodic synthylines. Belling sounds are introducing the climax of this synthy-enamored track. With a frisky acidbaseline and bellform percussionsound ken introduces his track "jogging high". He conjures us with a distinctively melodic spacesound... totaly a very fine release with a special, knocking athmotechnosound... thank you ken.

Our second mp3 release "Pulle al Chiaro di Luna" on Vekton Musik is from the MiniCoolBoyz from Milano / Italy. Three dry technotrack-toolz without any curlicue and effects, working on every dancefloor. "Pulle" begins with deep chord-sounds, plastic percussion and a pushing baseline. After the break starts the hookline with its bleeping sythy-frog-sound. The track "Luna" sounds also very dry like "Pulle" with its characteristic Mini_Cool_Boyz-beat. The percussion impulses up and down... The breaks were placed where they have to be... This technoid tool completes the track "Chiaro". The producers Darrows and Raphael used bleeping Synthieleads moving straight and slow towards the punch line.

"The Change" is Jose Galbans debuts release on vekton musik. Its also the first release on this new and fresh mp3 digital label. The tracks are a little bit trancy and at the same time very danceable. They have also a big recognizability value. "Another Ground" starts with a deep hypnotic sound and a fundament of bass and rhythm. The percussion is accompanied by deep effect sounds and breath voices till the hookline begins after the break. The track sounds like a big thunderstorm. "Errors" is a track with a lot of organic sounds moving through a powerful rhythm. the title track "Change" sounds like a clap-monster with a deep knarz-bass and a well defined percussion sounds. Melodic tunes underlines the rhythm of Jose Galbans title track.
